Both hotels are family run. Each and every one of us - Sepp, Rosa, Walter, Simone, Reinhold and Sieglinde -, will take full care of you in their own way. And the title of “Hotel With a Heart” given to us by a German magazine makes us even more proud of our work.

Beating heart of the home, tailor, chef, hotel manager with a golden heart She will be at the reception, in the kitchen or the garden, where she grows with love and passion herbs, vegetables and salad. But she can do much more! In addition to green fingers, she also has an eye for detail: a very experience tailor, she is the one responsible for that extra elegant touch that you will find around the hotel. Bed linens, curtains and table linens are all her work. Nothing more to be said: you will find out for yourself ... Our Rosa is a force of nature ... but with a soft heart!
Passionate farmer and handyman. He was the one who set the first stone He deals with the farming activities up in the hotel hut. It’s thanks to him that our kitchen is always well stocked with high quality meat, from beef from our Scottish Highland cows to pork from our free-range pigs. And it is indeed Josef who provides the hay for our hay baths. Josef is our talented handyman, he has a solution to every problem, and he makes sure that everything is in good working order, from light bulbs to the energy production plants.
Junior Chef, butcher and baker Declared kitchen lover for over 15 years. He is also an experienced butcher, and can therefore handle the meat from our hut perfectly. And thanks to his bread making capabilities, he spoils us with freshly baked bread every day. His kitchen mantra? Home made using 0 km produce, healthy and easy to digest.
Entertainer, organiser, gastronomy expert and passionate about folk music You can find him here and there: at the reception, the bar, or the weekly barbecue at the hotel hut. And it is indeed there that he fully releases his cheerful spirit, going wild with his accordion. He will truly entertain you with his songs about the beauty of the Alpine landscape and life. Nothing left for you but to let yourself be taken in by his joy for life! But Walter is much more than just artistic talent: he also takes care of the hotel, and his mind is always busy with new ideas.
Walter’s beloved, mother, experienced educator and customer service specialist Simone always has everything under control. She lovingly takes care of her two children, Max and Leo, and of customers. During her spare time she likes nothing more than enjoy the South Tyrol nature. She is therefore the best person to ask for advice on open air activities. Do you have a question? Simone has the answer!
Historian, geographer, tourist guide, mother and tourist expert In addition to having completed tourism studies and being a certified tourist guide, Sieglinde is passionate about history and geography and has travelled extensively. She is the globetrotter of the family! Many years ago she started crossing the boundaries of her home town, Villandro, taking on the world - from Patagonia to the North Pole -, at the discovery of new places and experiences. She now has three children and is in charge of marketing for both hotels.
5 little devils, but also the pride and joy of the Rabensteiner family They always keep us on our toes ... but life would be boring without them! They are always here, there and everywhere, always looking for new play friends during the summer, spending their days in full freedom at the Berglandhotel Untertheimerhof.
