And just like at the time, our secret is still the same: our heart. Our guests can enjoy a family atmosphere and we truly spoil them with all the attention.

Our two hotels, the Berglandhotel Untertheimerhof and the Sonnenhotel Adler are only 300 metres from each other. They are both personally managed by us, the Rabensteiner family, and both are in a great position, in the green heart of South Tyrol. Whichever you choose, you will enjoy a full range of wellness facilities of the highest level.

… all for you! Villandro lies in enchanting settings, on a plane kissed by the sun at the geographic centre of South Tyrol. This makes it the ideal starting point to explore the Dolomites and the nearby cities.

Here at the Berglandhotel Untertheimerhof we love everything genuine and home-made: we bake our bread every day, we make jams, pasta and desserts. In hour hotel we have our kitchen, but also a bakery, a patisserie, a butcher shop and a smoking shed.

Our very own crown jewel: our own mountain hut

Once a week from June to October your young host Walter will greet you at our own mountain hut, locally known as “Toamer Rastl”. Here you will enjoy the best barbecue ever, beautiful local chants and lots of laughter.

When embarking on a great family holiday people always have many expectations. We will spoil you for choice with an adventure park, a lawn where you can have endless fun, a game room, swimming pools and – to make sure that you really experience everything – a farm with animals. And this is what we came up with in order to ensure that also adults can enjoy a wonderful time: relaxing spa facilities, guided excursions, e-bike hire, and for the most active amongst you a fitness room.

When the chefs are at works, the kitchen makes heavenly music …

Reinhold and Rosa, the king and queen of the kitchen! A team in tune and harmony can only lead to excellent results: like many single notes effortlessly and beautifully coming together, the products of the farm and the vegetables and herbs from our garden are turned into gastronomic symphonies that conquer the palate. Our secret? The love and passion of our chefs, from soil to plate!

Spectacular views that cannot be put into words. You just have to come to see them for yourself … from the large 800 m² terrace, the indoor swimming pool with panoramic windows, the lawn while letting yourself be pampered by the sun, or from the comfort of your own beautiful room.

The majestic Villandro Alp is just a few minutes walks. Great for some peace and quiet, for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, family outings, or just some sunbathing. Wonderful paths will take you at the discovery of great places in summer, while in winter you can enjoy inspiring snowshoe walks, cross-country skiing adventures and sledge fun. And the backdrop of this natural theatre? The impressive Dolomite pan-oooh-rama!
